NSW has recorded just one new locally acquired case of COVID-19 another infection linked to the Great Beginnings childcare centre in Oran Park, in Sydney’s south-west.
Key points:

  • The Oran Park cluster has reached 19 COVID-19 cases, including six linked to the childcare centre
  • There were 12,985 tests done in the latest reporting period
  • Warnings have been issued for venues in and around Oran Park

Beach Energy has seen a jump in quarterly revenues after an improvement in oil prices offset a marginal dip in production.
Beach reported production of 6.77 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) for the three months ended September 30, down 1 per cent on the June quarter.
The company said lower volumes from Western Flank and BassGas offset higher output from Victorian Otway Basin and Cooper Basin joint venture.
